Contact Heat Transmission Test Apparatus, based on EN 702, specifies a test method of the determination of the contact heat transmission.
It is applicable to protective clothing (including hand protectors) or its constituent materials intended to protect against high contact temperature. The application of the standard is restricted to contact temperatures from 100 °C to 500 °C.​

Features

  • Heating cylinder could heat up to 500°C, with a contact surface of diameter in 25.2mm.
  • An extra 49N load is mounted on the top of heating cylinder, and a heat insulation shielding is mounted between the cylinder and the calorimeter.
  • Calorimeter, accuracy within ±0.75%, measuring range up to 800°C.
  • Equipped with PLC and touch screen for temperature control, contacting speed control and timer.
